Recent project I had that I took. I had no experience in VFX previously but started to get familiar with the tooling in a month. This is quite exciting, I'm interested to learn Unreal Niagara in the future.
Tools within Unity that are used includes VFX Graph (particle spawn and behaviour) and Shader Graph (procedural textures, UV manipulation). The shapes are in 3D, created with Blender. A more specific textures like star are created with Inkscape.
